Short answer: Field mappings are saved in your browser. Invoice data is not stored long-term.
Privacy is built into our core design. We don't keep your sensitive business data on our servers.
What Gets Saved (Locally in Your Browser)
For convenience, these settings are saved in your browser's local storage:
- Field mappings: How CSV columns map to invoice fields
- Company details: Your business name, address, VAT number, etc.
This means you don't have to re-enter this information every time you generate invoices. But it's stored only on your device—not on our servers.
What is Local Storage?
Local storage is a browser feature that saves data on your computer. It's similar to cookies but more secure and persistent. Only your browser can access this data—not us, not anyone else.
What We Don't Store
- CSV files: Deleted immediately after processing
- Invoice data: Generated invoices aren't saved on our servers
- Customer information: Names, emails, addresses—none of it stays with us
- Financial data: Amounts, transactions, payment details—not stored
How Long Do We Keep Anything?
For large batches (over 2,000 invoices), we temporarily store the generated ZIP file to email you a download link. These files are:
- Automatically deleted after 24 hours
- Never opened or accessed by us
- Secured during the brief storage period
Privacy by Design
We're an EU-based company (Estonia) operating under GDPR. Privacy isn't just a feature—it's legally required and ethically right.
Our approach is simple: We can't leak data we don't collect.
Clear Your Browser Data
If you're using a shared computer, remember that field mappings and company details are saved in your browser. Clear your browser data or use a private/incognito window for sensitive work.
